Missed out on Burning Man? Want to hang out at the beach and meet some voluntaryist friends, or make some new friends? Enjoy building sand castles, and trust building? Come to the inaugural L.A. Voluntaryists’ beach day at Zuma Beach!
All who live by a moral code of equal self-sovereignty and non-aggression are welcome.
Activities may include building sand structures together, eating, games, wave activities, napping, conversation or whatever else seems fitting. Come and go whenever you please, but the main event will be between 3 and 7 pm. If you plan to eat, please bring something to share. Bring a small sign (e.g., tape it to your cooler or beach chair) saying “LAV” so others can find you.
Zuma Beach rules prohibit alcohol, tents, and fires (including BBQs) so please plan accordingly. You are responsible for your own actions. This is a self-organizing non-event and no one is in charge.
Set up your beach blanket near the X in the photo below. The northernmost public restroom appears in the photo as the red tile structure towards the right end of the photo. The cross street is Guernsey Ave.
Bring a group of your friends and set up a camp to demonstrate your voluntary spirit!
